URGENT: Russia may cut export duty on oil from new East
Siberia fields

KIRISHI (Leningrad Region), February 12 (RIA Novosti)
- Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Thursday supported a
proposal to temporarily cut the export duty on oil extracted
from newly developed oil deposits in East Siberia.
"Considering that new fields in East Siberia are being
commissioned now, it is proposed to consider temporarily
cutting export duties on oil produced there," Putin told a
meeting on the development of the domestic oil sector.
