MOSCOW, February 26 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprom is
considering participating in oil and gas projects in Yemen, the
Russian energy giant said on Thursday.
Yemeni Minister of Oil and Minerals Amir Salim
al-Aydarus met with Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller in Moscow on
Thursday to discuss prospects for cooperation in the energy
sector.
"The parties discussed opportunities for Gazprom's
participation in oil and gas development and refining projects,
as well as in developing Yemen's gas industry, including the
construction of gas transportation and distribution networks,"
Gazprom said.
