Three killed in fire in Russia's Far East

VLADIVOSTOK, March 16 (RIA Novosti) - Three people have died in a house fire in the Russian Far Eastern city of Khabarovsk, a local emergencies spokesman said on Monday.

The fire that spread over an area of 100 square meters occurred late on Sunday, completely destroyed the wooden house and took firefighters 50 minutes to extinguish the blaze.

The bodies of three men were discovered in the debris of the fire.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
