MOSCOW, March 25 (RIA Novosti) - Individual ruble
savings accounts held with Russian banks increased by more that
1% in February, a Central Bank official said on Wednesday.
"Household deposits in February, according to preliminary
information, increased by more than 1%. The increase occurred
due to a growth in ruble deposits," said Alexei Simanovsky, who
heads the bank's department for regulation and supervision.
The official said the increase in ruble deposits was
expected to continue, adding that the "ruble will be stable for
several months."
