Up to August the 8th 62,5 mln of grains are threshed, - Ministry of Agriculture of Russian Federation.

According to recent reports of governing bodies of Agro-industrial complex of constituent entities of Russian Federation by August the 8th, 2016 countrywide cereal and legume crops are threshed from the area of 17,7 mln hectares or 37,4 % to the cultivated area (in 2015 – 15,6 mln hectares). 62,5 mln tons of grain threshed (in 2015 – 48,8 mln tons), with a yield of 35,4 dt/ha (in 2015 – 31,0 dt/ha).

Among that, in Southern Federal district and legume crops are threshed from the area of 6,1 mln hectares or 72,1% to the cultivated area (in 2015 - 6,3 mln hectares) 25,1 mln tons or grain are threshed (in 2015 – 22,6 mln tons) with a yield of 40,8 dt/ha (in 2015 – 35,8 dt/ha).

In the North Caucasian Federal district – threshed 2,4 mln hectares or 77,9% to the cultivated area ( in 2015 - 2,4 mln hectares). 10,0 mln tons of grain are threshed (in 2015 – 9,0 mln tons) with a yield of 41,0 dt/ha (in 2015 – 37,6 dt/ha).

In the Central Federal district - threshed 3,6 mln hectares or 42,9% to the cultivated area ( in 2015 - 3,4 mln hectares). 13,7 mln tons of grain are threshed (in 2015 – 10,6 mln tons) with a yield of 41,0 dt/ha (in 2015 – 38,4 dt/ha).

In the Volga Federal district - threshed 5,2 mln hectares or 39,9% to the cultivated area ( in 2015 - 3,3 hectares). 13,0 mln tons of grain are threshed (in 2015 – 5,9 mln tons) with a yield of 24,9 dt/ha (in 2015 – 17,6 dt/ha).

In the North-West Federal district - threshed 37,3 thousand hectares or 9,6% to the cultivated area ( in 2015 - 9,4 thousand hectares). 117,9 thousand tons of grain are threshed (in 2015 – 36,8 thousand tons) with a yield of 31,6 dt/ha (in 2015 – 39,1 dt/ha).

In the far Eastern Federal district - threshed 30,6 thousand hectares or 8,9% to the cultivated area ( in 2015 - 34,7 thousand hectares). 61,6 thousand tons of grain are threshed (in 2015 – 59,1 thousand tons) with a yield of 20,1 dt/ha (in 2015 – 17,0 dt/ha).

In the Urals Federal district - threshed 42,0 thousand hectares or 1,2% to the cultivated area ( in 2015 - 13,7 thousand hectares). 104,4 thousand tons of grain are threshed (in 2015 – 34,6 thousand tons) with a yield of 24,8 dt/ha (in 2015 – 25,3 dt/ha).

In the Siberian Federal district - - threshed 177,8 thousand hectares or 1,8% to the cultivated area ( in 2015 - 129,6 thousand hectares). 447,0 thousand tons of grain are threshed (in 2015 – 249,1 thousand tons) with a yield of 25,1 dt/ha (in 2015 – 19,2 dt/ha).

Winter and spring wheat countrywide is threshed from the area of 11,7 mln hectares or 42,4% to the cultivated area (in 2015 – 11,3 mln hectares). 45,7 mln tons of grain are threshed (in 2015 – 38,1 mln tons) with a yield of 38,9 dt/ha (in 2015 – 33,6 dt/ha).

 

Winter and spring barley is threshed from the area of 3,1 mln hectares or 37,3% to the cultivated area (in 2015 – 2,7 mln hectares). 9,2 mln tons of grain are threshed (in 2015 – 7,1 mln tons)

Winter rape is threshed from the area of 73,2 thousand hectares or 7,4% to the cultivated area (in 2015 – 101,4 thousand hectares). 142,6 thousand tons of grain are threshed (in 2015 – 181,6 thousand tons) with a yield of 19,5 dt/ha (in 2015 – 17,9 dt/ha).

Fiber flax is collected from the area of 7.8 thousand hectares or 16,2% to the cultivated area (in 2015 – 1,8 thousand hectares).

Potatoes in the agricultural enterprises and farm enterprises are dug from the area of 18,0 thousand hectares or 5,3% to the cultivated area (in 2015 – 22,0 thousand hectares). 449,2 thousand tons of potatoes are dug (in 2015 – 389,1 thousand tons) with a yield of 250,1 dt/ha (in 2015 – 176,7 dt/ha).

Agricultural producers of Orlov region and Krasnodar region have started harvesting of sugar beet. In general 11,6 thousand hectares are dug or 1% to the cultivated area (in 2015 – 0,8 thousand hectares). 525,9 thousand tons of beet are dug (in 2015 – 34,5 thousand tons) with a yield of 452,5 dt/ha (in 2015 – 431,3 dt/ha).
