The Head of the Federal Migration Service (FMS) Konstantin Romodanovsky stated during a meeting with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin that the number of qualified foreign specialists (higher technical top-management) and highly qualified specialists will almost double this year.
The FMS head also explained: “Qualified specialists from China and Ukraine are receiving the most work permits, while for highly qualified specialists, the greatest number is going to those from Germany, England, France and the USA.”
At the same time, more work patents and work permits are being issues to citizens of Uzbekistan than those of any other country. “We have reached a number of 4600 patents a day to individual workers: nannies, maids, construction workers, etc.,” said Konstantin Romodanovsky.
The work patent is available to citizens of countries with visa-free regimes with Russia. It may be applied for and obtained by the individual worker and used to work for any individual residing within the territory that issued the patent.
