Representation Offices of Foreign Legal Entities Obtain Rights To Invite Highly Qualified Specialists

On May 5, 2014, President Putin signed into power Federal Law #106-ФЗ “On Introduction of Changes To Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation”.

According to the new law, starting January 1, 2015, permanent representations of foreign legal entities will gain the right to invite foreign highly qualified specialist for work in Russia; currently only branch offices have this right.

The new law comes into power on January 1, 2015.
