On Sunday, January 8, Gazprom made the third from the beginning of the year historical record for export to non-CIS countries per day, is reported by the holding from January,9. Delivery volume amounted to 621,8 million cubic meters of gas. «Herewith, the maximum result was reached on Sunday, when gas consuming by foreign customers, as a rule, reduce to minimal figures per week», — said in the company. Earlier, the record was noted on Friday, January 6, when Gazprom was exporting 615,5 million cubic meters per day. On Monday, the Head of Gazprom Aleksey Miller at a daily briefing said that 2016 was a record year for the holding. For 12 months delivery to Europe reached 179,3 billion cubic meters, that became «the maximum for the whole history of gas industry». The volume of export of Gazprom to the non-CIS countries grew about 12,5% (on 19,9 billion cubic meters), that according to Miller is comparable with the delivery volume of the company to Great Britain in 2016.
