Russia is coming out of rigid economic crisis but making it to stagnation, thinks the Head of Sberbank german Gref.
“I believe, our economy has left the recession. But speaking economic language, we got into stagnation. In my opinion, we are obviously leaving the rigid crisis, that we witnessed in 2015 -2016”, - said the banker.
According to him, in 2017 is expected economy growth. “How high? It’s hard to predict now, around 1-2%”, - added Gref. In December 2016, the Head of Sberbank predicted that in 2017 GDP growth in Russia will get to 1,5%. In his opinion, increase in lending will also take place.
November 28, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) improved the forecast for Russian economy. GDP in 2017 will grow on 0,8%, think OECD experts. According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade forecast in 2017 GDP will amount to 0,6%, in 2018 – 1,7%, in 2019 – 2,1%.
